2016 NSW State of Origin Teams

The 2016 NSW Women’s Open team has been announced with the Manly Sea Eagles having eight representatives that will take on Queensland in Sydney during September 2016.  Extremely pleasing is the successful return from injury of Sarah Peattie. Seven players who represented the Australian Women’s Open team at the Trans-Tasman in Auckland last month have gained selection along with Sarah Peattie.  Barry Gibson is also involved as Assistant Coach. Zara Nicholas will be representing NSW Mixed Open and in the Women’s 30’s so will Chloe Butcher. In the Women’s 20’s similar to the Open team Manly have eight representatives with young players Brittney Clifford, Pihuka Duff, Faith Nathan, Aaliyah Paki and Elise Wilson all making their debut for NSW at this level.  Good luck to all involved – Go the Blues!
